Knowing Too Much

Knowing too much can be as much of a hindrance then knowing too little. Wisdom is knowing how much to know and how much is not necessary to know. Knowing too much can sometimes weigh you down and slow your reflexes. Do we really need to try to know everything? Even if we felt we did, there is no way we could do so. Too many things are shrouded in mystery. We worry about the neighbor’s back yard when we should be minding our own. We want to jump over the moon when we cannot even cross a puddle of water reflecting the same moon without getting wet. Our aspirations are long distance when we should be dialing local.
